Reviews & Testimonials Transparency Note

Last updated: 20th June 2026

BloomStone may use parent reviews, professional testimonials and feedback to help families understand the quality, approach and experience of BloomStone tuition.

Reviews and testimonials are handled carefully, especially where they relate to children.

1. Genuine reviews and testimonials

BloomStone only publishes genuine reviews, testimonials and feedback from people with direct knowledge of BloomStone’s work.

This may include:

  • parents or guardians

  • current or former clients

  • professional colleagues

  • education professionals who can comment on teaching quality, curriculum knowledge or professional practice

BloomStone does not publish invented, misleading or falsely attributed reviews.

2. Permission before publication

Website testimonials are only published with appropriate permission.

BloomStone will not publish a parent’s name, a child’s name, a child’s image, a child’s work sample, school details or other identifiable information without appropriate permission.

This helps protect family and child privacy.

3. Child quotes, work samples and images

BloomStone may sometimes ask to use a child quote, work sample, image or example of progress.

These will only be used with appropriate parent or guardian permission.

Where possible, identifying details will be removed or reduced before publication.

BloomStone does not publish child images, identifiable work samples or detailed case studies without specific permission.

4. Editing testimonials

Testimonials may be lightly edited for length, clarity, spelling, grammar or anonymity.

BloomStone will not edit a testimonial in a way that changes its meaning or creates a misleading impression.

If a testimonial is shortened, the original meaning will be preserved.

5. Individual experiences

Testimonials describe individual experiences of BloomStone tuition.

They may refer to improved confidence, clearer writing, stronger reading responses, better spoken explanation, parent communication or other aspects of support.

They do not guarantee that every child will have the same experience, progress or outcome.

Children develop at different rates, and progress depends on factors such as starting point, attendance, engagement, practice between lessons and school context.

6. External reviews

BloomStone may invite parents to leave a review on an external platform, such as Google Reviews.

External reviews are managed by the relevant platform and may be subject to that platform’s own rules.

BloomStone will not ask parents to leave a review that is false, exaggerated or misleading.

7. Removal requests

If a parent has given permission for a testimonial or identifiable review to be used and later wishes it to be removed from future website use, they should contact BloomStone.

BloomStone will review the request and remove or update the testimonial where reasonably practical.

This may not affect material that has already been printed, archived or shared outside BloomStone’s direct control.

8. Privacy

Reviews, testimonials, child information and work samples are handled according to BloomStone’s Privacy & Cookie Notice.

BloomStone does not sell parent or child personal information.
