Cancellation & Rescheduling Summary
Last updated: 19th June 2026
BloomStone lessons are carefully planned around each child’s current teaching focus. This policy helps protect lesson time, maintain consistency and ensure that rescheduling is handled clearly and fairly.
This summary should be read alongside BloomStone’s full Terms & Conditions.
1. Rescheduling with notice
Lessons may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
Where at least 48 hours’ notice is given, the lesson credit remains available and BloomStone will make reasonable efforts to arrange another suitable time.
Rescheduling is not guaranteed and depends on BloomStone’s availability.
2. Late cancellations
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
Where this happens, the lesson credit may be deducted from the remaining lesson balance.
3. Missed lessons
If a child does not attend a scheduled lesson and no notice has been given, the lesson may be charged in full.
Missed lessons without notice are not normally rescheduled or refunded.
4. Late arrival
Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time.
If a child joins late, the lesson will not usually be extended.
If a child joins more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, BloomStone may treat the lesson as missed and the lesson credit may be deducted.
5. Technology-related disruption
Parents are responsible for ensuring that the child has a suitable device, stable internet connection, working audio and video, and access to the lesson link.
If a lesson is disrupted or missed because of parent-side or student-side technical issues, the lesson may still be charged where BloomStone was available and the correct access details had been provided.
Where a lesson cannot take place because of a BloomStone-side or platform-side issue, the lesson will be rearranged or the lesson credit will remain available.
6. If BloomStone needs to cancel
If BloomStone needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, the lesson will be rearranged or the lesson credit will remain available.
BloomStone will give as much notice as reasonably possible.
7. Lesson credit validity
Lesson credit should usually be used within the agreed validity period stated in the Terms & Conditions.
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may affect the ability to complete lessons within that period.
8. Exceptional circumstances
BloomStone understands that unexpected situations can arise.
Where exceptional circumstances apply, BloomStone may use discretion. This will be considered case by case and does not create an automatic right to reschedule, refund or retain lesson credit outside the agreed terms.
9. How to request a cancellation or reschedule
Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be made in writing by email or through the agreed parent communication channel.
A request is not confirmed until BloomStone has acknowledged it.
10. Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to BloomStone’s Terms & Conditions.
Completed lessons, late-cancelled lessons and missed lessons are not normally refundable.
